Job Summary
This role shall take ownership of all aspects across financial management and accounting related matters across the business entity, whilst also ensuring the appropriate financial reporting and compliance related controls are in place, linking to both regulatory and internal governance. This reporting function will be overseen in conjunction with the management of transactional accounting, linked to payables and receivables, to ensure sufficient funding, cash-flows and capital adequacy requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for the closure of financial statements, at month-end and quarter-end, aligned to IFRS policies, whilst liaising with head office and group finance to set budgets and financial planning parameters.
About you
The successful candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with a thorough and recent track record within the financial services sector or from within external audit related background. Candidates shall be expected to demonstrate a strong compliance background, coupled with a solid grasp of commercial banking platforms, particularly linked to investment based products and services. You should also have up to 7 years of experience, in a related role and field, whereby a management capability can be introduced for succession planning purposes.
